Leading and Managing Strategy Execution - Global Performance Management Academy | GPMA

Leading and Managing Strategy Execution

Even the best-formulated strategy will not succeed unless it is clearly communicated to all employees, understood by them, and inspires their loyalty and commitment to its execution. This necessitates developing effective plans to communicate the strategy to all stakeholder groups by identifying the specific message for each group, selecting the best communication channels, and establishing two-way communication pathways to ensure information flow, address questions, and respond to feedback. Additionally, it is crucial to align all employee groups with the organization’s strategy in a way that enables each team to clearly define their contribution to achieving it (Line-of-Sight) and to establish performance indicators for the organization’s overall objectives. Creating a high-performance culture focused on achievement and linking the rewards system to strategic performance is also essential. Finally, managing the change processes required for strategy implementation must follow a scientific methodology to foster an environment that mobilizes the organization’s energy and resources toward achieving strategic goals.
